Summer plans
By which I mean unscheduled days + lots of ice cream
It is officially summer the season, but it is not yet summer break. My kids are in school until June 27th. On that day, there will likely be an informal park party after school, one that I enjoy very much every year. The awkwardness of being around other parents seems to wane on that one day. If you’re on here or other social media, you might have heard that people are currently very excited about having an 80s (90s?) summer of boredom and cheap, low key hot weather pleasures like popsicles and public pools.
